The Farm Market at NCC runs through Wednesday, Oct. 30, for your midweek opportunity to #shoplocal!
The market features fresh, certified organic produce from Farmer Kegan Hilaire and his team at Blackbird Farms, now growing on three acres at the East 40. Depending on the season, other produce choices will be available from local growers like Newhard Corn Shed and Scholl Orchards.
Come early to pick up the tasty treats, both sweet and savory - along with freshly-baked breads and rolls - created by the NCC Baking & Pastry class students. Their selections are very popular and sell out quickly!
The market also features other local vendors' products like fresh cut flowers from Beau Design Co. and Bubbly Hill Farm, herbal teas from Katydid Hill Farm, dried herbs and seasonings from Blue Sun Growers, honey from Rodale Institute, and coffee beans from Monocacy Coffee - with new additions coming every week.
You can also enjoy a complimentary cup of Monocacy Coffee, freshly-brewed (served in sustainably-sourced cups donated by our friends at Green Pond Packaging) and pick up info from community partners.

Bonus: good conversation and connection with the folks who grow and prepare your food!
