New! Natural Dyeing Workshops
Enjoy a free session to get acquainted with this age-old technique

Another of our former Summer Artists-in-Residence, Cindy Vojnovic, will bring her passion for creating dyes from natural substances, to a series of three workshops at the East 40.

All are welcome to attend the first session - for free! - on Saturday, Sept. 14 from 10-11:30 am. Attendance at the first session is required to attend the second and/or third sessions. Come for an introduction to this time-tested, ecologically-friendly process that will also cover scouring (preparing the fiber).

Cindy will follow up with a second session about the process of mordanting (specific techniques for certain fibers) and then a third about immersion dyeing. These two sessions will run from 10 am - noon.

Again, there is no cost for the first session, and the second and third sessions are each $20 - you can sign up for one or both.
