NON-CREDIT CLASSES

East 40 has a history of offering a variety of non-credit classes through
NCC's Community Ed

Natural Dyeing from the Ground Up
Learn the basics by hands-on dyeing with natural materials, some of which
you will harvest from the ground during the workshop! Environmentally friendly practices will be used to unlock the magic of historic dyestuffs that have been used
for thousands of years. Organic indigo, madder and other dyestuffs, plus silk, bamboo, wool, and mohair to use them on are provided.
This class is taught by adjunct faculty member Cindy Vojnovic at the East 40,
on the weekend of May 12-14.

Paint from the Ground Up
Make your own paint by working hands-on with natural materials, some found
on the grounds of the East 40 where the workshop will occur! Learn how to
make pigments and how to turn them into various types of paint.
Materials and tools provided.

This class is taught by adjunct faculty member Cindy Vojnovic at the East 40,
